The rapporteur of the Senate's Committee on Constitution and Justice (CCJ) voted in favor of the PEC that ends the 6x1 work schedule, which provides for six consecutive days of work followed by one day of rest. The opinion was favorable to the admissibility of the proposal, and the voting on the text in the CCJ is scheduled for next week. The PEC, authored by Federal Deputy Erica Hilton (PSOL-SP), proposes changing the maximum weekly work hours, currently limited to 44 hours, to a model that guarantees workers at least one complete weekend every two weeks.
