The president of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Musa Gusau, announced his resignation on Thursday (27) due to corruption suspicions and the poor results of the men's and women's national teams. Gusau, who had been leading the federation since 2022, declared the decision at a press conference at the entity's headquarters in Abuja. The resignation comes one month before elections at the federation, and Gusau stated that several board members should also resign.
