The Brazil-Macau Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism promoted at the Consulate-General of Portugal in Rio de Janeiro the exhibition "The Traveling Dolls," which is part of the itinerant series "The Marvelous and Curious Travels," developed by Polish artist-researcher Marta Stanisława Sala and Macau researcher Cheong Kin Man. The project, which has already traveled through Nuremberg, Katowice, Macau and the Macau Scientific and Cultural Center, explores themes such as memory, diaspora, language, identity and belonging, establishing connections between different historical, cultural and geographical paths. After the presentation in Rio de Janeiro, the exhibition continues in Brazil in spaces such as Galpão Bela Maré and the Hélio Oiticica Municipal Art Center, then moving to São Paulo and returning to Portugal in November during Lisbon Art Weekend.
