There are 21 schools that repeatedly get very high grades over eight years

The General Directorate for Education and Science Statistics identified 38 Portuguese private schools with very high grades in secondary education, of which 21 consistently repeat this pattern over eight years. In contrast, only three public sector schools reached the same excellence threshold during the same period. The study highlights the disparity between private and public education results in Portugal, showing a prolonged pattern of high performance in a limited number of institutions.
