Fosun more than doubles profit to 217 ME in the first half

Fosun, the Chinese group that holds stakes in Fidelidade and BCP, announced it had total profits of approximately 217 million euros in the first half of the year, more than doubling (160.3%) its net profit compared to the same period last year, reaching 1,700 million renminbi yuan.
The Polytechnic University of Coimbra completed 15 energy efficiency projects with a total investment of 6.2 million euros, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The interventions include the installation of solar panels, LED lighting systems and improvements to air conditioning, with the aim of reducing the institution's energy consumption and carbon footprint.

Alphabet agreed to pay £260 million to settle a collective action in the UK that accuses Google of abusing its dominant position in the Play Store and charging excessive commissions from app developers.
