Nepal and China have issued flood alerts after devastating floods that have already caused at least 380 deaths and left approximately 1,400 people missing. Nepali authorities fear new disasters due to adverse weather conditions that continue affecting the region, and have asked the population to remain on maximum alert. Rescue operations are ongoing but are hindered by poor road conditions and terrain instability following the floods.
Paulo Raimundo accused the Government of "throwing mud at the wall" regarding the promise not to touch Social Security during this legislation, considering that promise "is worth nothing".
