Portugal will acquire 75 VAMTAC tactical vehicles for the Navy in an investment of 133 million euros, financed by the European instrument for Action for Security in Europe (SAFE). The vehicles will be delivered in phases between 2027 and 2029, strengthening and modernizing the operational capabilities of the Portuguese Navy.
Paulo Raimundo accused the Government of "throwing mud at the wall" regarding the promise not to touch Social Security during this legislation, considering that promise "is worth nothing".
