Deer destroy more than 100 chestnut trees in village in Bragança

Deer are causing significant losses to chestnut producers in Cova de Lua, Bragança, having destroyed more than 100 chestnut trees in the village. The local communal land committee holds the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF) responsible for not responding to the farmers' needs and demands urgent measures to stop the destruction of chestnut orchards.
