Vila Nova de Foz Côa bets on Wine Tourism and brings higher education closer to young people

The municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa formalized a partnership with the Polytechnic University of Guarda and the School Grouping Tenente-Coronel Adão Carrapatoso to create a CTeSP (Higher Professional Technical Course) in Wine Tourism. This initiative aims to qualify the young people of the region and encourage them to remain in the territory, taking advantage of the potential of the demarcated Douro region for the development of wine tourism as a local economic engine.
