Banks transfer exposures to 'data centers' to other agents to reduce concentration risk

Banks are transferring data center exposures to other financial agents as a way to reduce concentration risk, increasingly resorting to bank syndicates to channel financing and loan sales in the secondary market. This strategy allows financial institutions to limit their individual exposure to large-scale projects, such as data centers, which require substantial investments, by distributing the risk across multiple participants.
The Polytechnic University of Coimbra completed 15 energy efficiency projects with a total investment of 6.2 million euros, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The interventions include the installation of solar panels, LED lighting systems and improvements to air conditioning, with the aim of reducing the institution's energy consumption and carbon footprint.
