End of 6x1 schedule: senator presents report and keeps Chamber's text to speed up processing

The rapporteur of the constitutional amendment to end the 6x1 schedule, Senator Omar Aziz (PSD-AM), presented his report to the Senate's Committee on Constitution and Justice without changes to the text approved by the Chamber of Deputies in May. This way, if approved by the Senate in this form, the proposal can be directly promulgated. The vote is scheduled for next Wednesday in the CCJ, being the first item on the agenda, and the Lula government hopes for approval before the elections.
