The Butcher of Bosnia. Ratko Mladić dies at the UN detention center

Ratko Mladić, the former Bosnian-Serb general known as "The Butcher of Bosnia," died at 84 in The Hague while in detention at the United Nations center. Mladić was convicted of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide for the Srebrenica massacre in 1995, when more than eight thousand Bosnians were killed under his command. His death was confirmed by a UN official.
