Italy faces its fifth wave of extreme heat, with temperatures that could reach 45 degrees in the south of the country, particularly in eastern Sicily and Calabria. The heat wave will mainly affect the Center and South, with Friday expected to be the peak, when nine cities will be on red alert. In addition to high daytime temperatures, super-tropical nights are expected, with temperatures remaining above 25 degrees.
