Castelo Branco hosts on September 4th and 5th the first edition of the International Biennial of Arts and Crafts, at the Centre for Contemporary Culture, bringing together representatives from Portugal, Brazil, and Cape Verde. The event, promoted by the Municipal Council under the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, is part of the Flavours of Perdição Festival and includes round tables on local identity, creative economy, and the Embroidery of Castelo Branco, as well as the exhibition "The World Embroidered by Hand" and guided visits to MUTEX. The program features specialists and institutions from the three Lusophone countries, debating themes such as heritage preservation, innovation in traditional arts, entrepreneurship, and the internationalization of creative industries.
