Bruno Pinheiro, coach of Académico Viseu, praised his "great friend" Daniel Farioli, current coach of FC Porto, stating that "FC Porto had an eye" when choosing the Portuguese coach to lead the team. The coaches of the two teams coincided at the Aspire Academy, in Qatar, where a training camp took place, reinforcing the friendship and mutual respect between the two professionals.
FC Porto and Sporting will learn their opponents in the first phase of the Champions League this Thursday in Monaco, in a draw that will define the eight groups of the competition.
