Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb general known as the "Butcher of Bosnia," has died at the age of 78. Mladic was sentenced to life imprisonment by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, related to his role in the Bosnia conflict between 1992 and 1995, which included the Srebrenica massacre and the siege of Sarajevo.
