From doctor to doctor looking for answers? ULS de Coimbra creates multidisciplinary consultation to accelerate diagnosis

The Local Health Unit of Coimbra created a multidisciplinary consultation for patients with neuromusculoskeletal pain, allowing them to be evaluated by different specialists in the same physical space. The goal is to prevent patients from having to go through multiple appointments and specialties in search of answers, thus accelerating the diagnostic process and improving the quality of healthcare provided.
