Only the relatives of one of the 16 fatal victims of the Elevador da Glória accident took legal action

Only one of the 16 families of the fatal victims of the Gloria Elevator accident in Lisbon has filed a lawsuit. Fidelidade, the insurer of the Carris elevator, has already reached compensation agreements with four families, with seven other cases in the phase of out-of-court negotiation.

Girl seriously injured after fall from second floor

A female child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. The girl suffered serious fractures to the pelvic girdle and pelvis, having been transported to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha to receive medical treatment. Spanish police officer on vacation victim of knife robbery

A Spanish police officer who was on vacation was the victim of a stabbing robbery in [data unknown]. Two men approached the victim near a commercial area, where they stole his police badge, money and a watch. The agent was injured during the incident and was taken to a hospital to receive medical care.
