Luís Filipe Santos speaks of "feeling of abandonment" on Rua Direita

Madeira City Council councilor Luís Filipe Santos warned at Thursday's council meeting about the need for a "more careful and regular intervention" on Rua Direita, in the historic center of Funchal, referring to a "feeling of abandonment" that is felt in that area. The councilor highlighted concern about the state of conservation and maintenance of the road, calling on the municipality to take concrete measures to improve the image and conditions of the street.
André Ventura, during a visit to "alert political power," accused the Government of "failure" in resolving post-Kristin problems, considering that the delay represents "the State's failure" and that the most affected populations "were forgotten."
