Police conduct searches to arrest fifth suspect involved in beating in Copacabana

The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro are conducting searches to arrest the fifth suspect in the beating of cyclist Cláudio Rafael Landeiro in Copacabana. The suspect, identified as Wellington Luiz Santos de Souza, is accused of being the man who kicked the victim's head after questioning if he was a "thief." Cláudio Rafael was unjustly lynched after being accused of stealing a bicycle. Security footage shows Wellington getting out of a car, crossing the street and approaching the group that was beating the victim, before returning to the vehicle. Four other people involved have already been arrested.
