The Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro indicted twenty people, including two military police officers, for integrating cells linked to the Curicica militia and the Terceiro Comando Puro (TCP), which operate in communities in the Southwest and North Zones of the capital. The investigations revealed an alliance between the two criminal groups, based on a non-aggression pact and operational cooperation to combat rival factions, especially the Comando Vermelho. Yuri Guimarães Soares, known as Lirow, is identified as the link between the paramilitary structure and TCP members. An operation was launched to execute the arrest warrants against the accused.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
