Crash on the A13 causes four minor injuries near Almeirim

A passenger car veered off the road on the A13 motorway, at kilometre 69, in the Muge area, near Salvaterra de Magos, causing four minor injuries on Thursday morning, August 27. The alert was given at 11:02 and the victims were stabilised at the scene and taken to the District Hospital of Santarém. The rescue operations involved 19 operatives and eight vehicles from the Volunteer Firefighters of Salvaterra de Magos, Benavente and Samora Correia, as well as GNR military officers. Traffic was restricted during the rescue work and road cleaning.
