IPMA places 11 districts under yellow warning due to heavy rain and strong wind

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) issued a yellow warning for 11 districts of mainland Portugal due to heavy rain and strong wind. The warning, which is in effect until 3:00 PM, forecasts thunderstorms, hail and wind gusts that can reach 90 km/h, alerting the population to adverse weather conditions.
