extra27 August 2026 at 10:49
The Supreme Federal Court resumes this Thursday the trial on the validity of Labor Court decisions that recognized an employment relationship between app drivers and platforms such as Uber and Rappi. Two actions reported by Ministers Edson Fachin and Alexandre de Moraes will be judged, which arrived at the Supreme Court through appeals from the platforms contesting labor decisions. The trial had been suspended in October of last year after the parties' arguments, and in this session the first votes on the "uberization" issue will be cast.
