A German designer named Simon Weckert created an intentionally ugly Hawaiian shirt designed to deceive surveillance systems equipped with artificial intelligence. The piece uses a confusing mix of colors and patterns specifically developed to make the person wearing it undetectable by AI-powered security cameras. Weckert reacted to the increase in surveillance in major cities and privacy concerns by creating what he considers "the ugliest Hawaiian shirt on the planet," exploring the vulnerability of visual recognition algorithms.
