6x1 schedule: government supporters work to have constitutional amendment voted on in plenary next week

Senators from the coalition supporting the Lula government are working to have the constitutional amendment bill that ends the 6x1 work schedule voted on in the Senate next week, during the last voting window before the first round of elections. The strategy involves accelerating the process in the Constitution and Justice Committee, where rapporteur Omar Aziz is expected to deliver his report on Thursday, and the committee vote is scheduled for Wednesday. Government supporters expect to bring the text to the floor during the same focused legislative session, which runs until Friday, but they need authorization from Senate President Davi Alcolumbre to include the matter on the agenda.
André Ventura, during a visit to "alert political power," accused the Government of "failure" in resolving post-Kristin problems, considering that the delay represents "the State's failure" and that the most affected populations "were forgotten."
