Can we close the Ideal cinema already?

Ideal Cinema, in the center of Lisbon, remains the only cinema screen in the historic district of the city and one of only two independent and "street-level" screens in the capital, continuing to face challenges 12 years later. In an opinion article, Pedro Borges reflects on the cultural importance and survival of this cinema, questioning whether it will be possible to keep this screen open.
