"We do not accept that they want to decide our lives for us": activists ask Seguro to intervene against proposals on gender identity

Activists who collected more than 75 thousand signatures on a petition against the bills proposed by PSD, CDS-PP and Chega on gender identity requested an audience with the President of the Republic to contest these proposals. The initiative comes following a warning from the United Nations about the possible negative impacts of these measures on human rights, namely in the protection of trans and non-binary people.

Montenegro will go next week to the inauguration of the President of São Tomé
