South Korean researchers developed a wireless neural implant enabled for the Internet of Things (IoT) that integrates drug administration, optical stimulation, wireless communication and internet-based remote control in a single miniaturized device. Using this technology, a researcher in Chicago managed to remotely control a brain implant in Daejeon, South Korea.
