The native breeds of Trás-os-Montes face a serious risk of extinction due to the lack of generational renewal among breeders. To discuss this problem and the future of these animals, Miranda do Douro hosts on September 5 the 4th Iberian Meeting of Native Breeds, which aims to bring together specialists and producers to find solutions for the preservation of these threatened regional species.
