A hotel employee in Spain, who had been working for almost 30 years as head housekeeper, was dismissed for just cause after stealing six rolls of toilet paper from the establishment. The Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia confirmed the dismissal, considering that there was a breach of good faith and abuse of trust by the employee. The woman claimed that the attitude was due to a veterinary emergency, when her dog vomited in the car while waiting for her son, but the court did not accept the justification.
