A U.S. military judge has decided that the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the self-proclaimed mastermind of the September 11 terrorist attacks, will begin in 2028. Mohammed is accused of planning and executing the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people and faces charges that include conspiracy, murder and attacks on civilians, in a case that has suffered multiple delays over the years.
