Climate events worsen tension between displaced people and communities in Mozambique - IOM

A study by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) warns that extreme weather events — such as floods, droughts and cyclones — are exacerbating vulnerabilities and increasing tensions between people internally displaced due to armed conflict in northern Mozambique and host communities, creating an increasingly complex humanitarian situation in the region.
