6x1 scale: government supporters are working to have the proposal voted on in the plenary session next week, before the elections

Members of the government coalition in the Senate are working to pass the constitutional amendment that ends the 6x1 work schedule before the elections. The strategy is to accelerate the processing in the Constitution and Justice Committee, with a vote expected on Wednesday after the delivery of the rapporteur Omar Aziz's report. If approved in the committee, the proposal would be taken to the floor during the concentrated effort period, which ends on Friday.

Fires: Government recognizes Vouzela and Valpaços blazes as natural disaster

The Portuguese Government recognized as a natural disaster the rural fires that affected the municipalities of Vouzela and Valpaços between July and August, allocating ten million euros to support the affected agricultural holdings.
