Stone Soup Festival opens its doors in Almeirim with ambition to receive 20,000 visitors

The National Stone Soup Festival returned to Almeirim for its 12th edition, starting on Wednesday, August 26, with the ambition of receiving between 15,000 and 20,000 visitors by Sunday. The gastronomic event, which celebrates the city's ex-libris, is expected to serve approximately 12,500 portions of the traditional Stone Soup during the four days of the event.
In the scenes that air starting this Friday in the soap opera, the relationship between Bela and Vanessa becomes extremely conflictive. After having her name associated with an alleged kidnapping of minors and being publicly accused by Vanessa, Bela believes the heiress is seeking revenge and trying to tarnish her image. There are only 15 days left until the grand final of the Seven Wonders of Portugal, which will be held on September 12 at the Palace of Vila, in Sintra. Before that, this Saturday a semifinal and the last regional final of this competition, which elects the country's most emblematic monuments, will take place in Santarém.
The musical "Evita", one of the most well-known works of world musical theater, arrives in Sintra for two nights of performance, with Sofia Escobar and Diogo Morgado in the main cast. The production, based on the life of Eva Perón, promises to be one of the cultural highlights of the region.
