Players Savarino and Soteldo, from Fluminense, were the honored guests at the third anniversary celebration of Venezuela Gourmet, a Venezuelan snack bar in Copacabana, where a line of Tricolor fans formed to meet the athletes. The players were able to get a taste of home, sign fans' jerseys and try the arepa, their favorite dish, as well as empanadas and tequeños. Soteldo told GLOBO he is passionate about the Venezuelan arepa and highlighted the importance of maintaining connections with his country's culture, mentioning that Venezuela is rich in people and food.
