Brazilian government sues Discord after failed negotiations with platform

The Brazilian government filed a public civil action against Discord demanding protection measures for children, adolescents, and women, in addition to compensation of 500 million reais (approximately 83 million euros) for collective moral damages, after the failure of negotiations with the platform.
André Ventura, during a visit to "alert political power," accused the Government of "failure" in resolving post-Kristin problems, considering that the delay represents "the State's failure" and that the most affected populations "were forgotten."
