Mutirão will have 2.3 thousand exams for patients waiting in the regulation queue in Rio

A campaign with 2,380 imaging tests will be held this Wednesday at four Rio Imagem units to serve patients waiting for procedures through the State Regulation System (SER). The action, with all patients already scheduled, aims to expand the supply and reduce waiting time for diagnoses. Ultrasounds, CT scans, bone density scans, echocardiograms, and Doppler exams will be performed. Most of the appointments will take place at Rio Imagem Lagos, in Casimiro de Abreu, with 1,350 tests in a single day, including transvaginal and breast ultrasounds, carotid, vertebral, and lower limb Doppler exams, bone density scans, and CT scans. At the Campo Grande unit, in the West Zone, an additional 600 tests are planned with echocardiograms.
Portuguese airports recorded a 2.5% increase in passenger numbers through July, with July showing growth of 2.1%. This positive performance contrasts with the declines seen in other countries, such as the United States (-9.9%), Cambodia (-9.5%) and Japan (-5.8%), according to Vinci data.
