Rents. Higher education increases prices in Lisbon and Porto

With the entry of 50,000 new candidates to higher education, average rents in Lisbon have increased by about 10%, while in Porto the price rose by approximately 20 euros. Many of these students will travel to the capital, which has been driving demand for housing and, consequently, rent prices in the two main Portuguese cities.
