Friends from Barcelos climb three peaks above 5,000 meters in the Peruvian Andes

The Mountain Section of the Friends of the Mountain of Barcelos completed an expedition of about two weeks to the White Cordillera, in Peru, achieving the ascent of three of the four planned peaks, with emphasis on Urus East (5,420 meters) and Ishinca (5,530 meters). Eight mountaineers were part of the group, which had Huaraz as the logistical base during the incursion through the Peruvian Andes.
