Paraguay becomes expansion strategy for Temperatta

The Minas Gerais-based company Temperatta, specialized in the industrial sector, is investing in a new manufacturing plant in Paraguay as part of its expansion strategy. With a growth rate exceeding 30% in 2026, the decision aims not only at the Paraguayan market but also at opportunities in Mercosur and Brazil, taking advantage of tax incentives, more competitive costs, and the strategic location of the neighboring country. The new factory will also play an important role in the national expansion plan, allowing faster service to the Southern states and the São Paulo market, the country's largest consumer hub. According to CEO Fernando Seabra, the company is going through a new phase of growth.
Portugal is going to buy 75 armored vehicles from Spain for the marines, in an investment of 120 million euros fully funded by the European Union. The first vehicles, manufactured in Spain, should start arriving in the country next year.
