Portugal has significantly increased the likelihood of executing 100% of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), with the final deadline ending on Monday, according to Pedro Dominguinhos, president of the National Monitoring Commission. The various reprogrammings, especially the one in July, adapted the milestones and targets to the physical execution of investments. Although not all investments are completed by August, beneficiaries will have more months to complete works in schools, health centers, and student housing. The 10th payment request involves 96 milestones and targets, with execution on the ground already carried out. The minister of Economy advocates for the full execution of the plan, highlighting that it is still too early for a final assessment, as success must be evaluated in three dimensions: formal, provision of investments, and impacts.
