Nialp is in the planning phase to coordinate the sending of support to those affected by the tragedy.

There are 21 schools that have been repeating very high grades for eight consecutive years

Nepal: "What happened was the detachment of a glacier due to climate change"

A glacier calving in the border region between Nepal and Tibet, caused by climate change, led to a humanitarian catastrophe with hundreds of dead and approximately 1500 missing. Major-General Isidro de Morais Pereira explained that the impact of the calving generated a seismic tremor of magnitude 5.2, describing the images of destruction as "overwhelming".
