Euro falls but remains at the 1.16 dollar level

The euro fell today against the dollar, remaining however above the 1.16 dollar threshold, after the publication of inflation data in the United States that came in above expectations. Despite the rise in prices, it is expected that the American Federal Reserve will not change interest rates at the September meeting.

Labour Court condemned the Droga Raia pharmacy chain to pay R$ 4 million for collective moral damages, after a public civil action filed by the Labour Prosecutor's Office in Rio de Janeiro. The Regional Labour Court of the 1st Region also identified that the company's internal reporting channel did not function effectively to investigate and suppress acts of harassment and discrimination, in addition to failures in occupational health and safety programs, without adequate monitoring of psychosocial risks.
