Is the value of houses appraised by banks slowing down?

In July, the median value at which banks valued houses in Portugal reached €2,240 per square meter, representing a 15.2% increase compared to the same period last year. However, the growth rate slowed for the second consecutive month, suggesting a slowdown in the Portuguese real estate market.

Church of the Monastery of Ferreira to undergo conservation works

The Church of the Monastery of Ferreira, in Paços de Ferreira, will undergo a conservation, preservation and enhancement intervention, with a base price of 332,767.47 euros and an execution period of 180 days. The public tender was launched by the Association of Municipalities of Vale do Sousa (VALSOUSA), with financing through European Union funds, and interested companies can submit proposals until September 14. The work requires qualification for the performance of restoration works on historical-artistic immovable property, with the winning proposal chosen based on technical merit (60%) and price (40%).
