He decided to record his message while he still maintains preserved cognition, knowing this period may last from weeks to months. Lito expressed his belief in a cure and talked about his family's search for experimental treatment, making an appeal for inclusion in clinical studies. The disease was diagnosed after the emergence of encephalitis in the brain, which has already caused loss of movements, difficulty walking, and partial loss of vision.
