Meta has reached an agreement to pay up to $16.68 billion (approximately 14 billion euros) to 29 U.S. states to settle a landmark lawsuit. The parent company of Facebook and Instagram was accused of designing its social networks to create addiction among children and of having concealed the potential dangers of its platforms.
