Lula receives Motta and Alcolumbre for lunch at Alvorada to discuss priority projects for reelection campaign

President Lula received the presidents of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre, and of the Chamber, Hugo Motta, at the Alvorada Palace for a working lunch with the objective of debating priority projects for the government and his re-election campaign. Among the topics under discussion are the PEC to end the 6x1 scale, the Public Security PEC, the MP that eliminated the fee on cheap items, and the bill on critical minerals. Lula seeks parliamentary support to approve these proposals before the first round of elections, since next week will be the last with voting sessions before Election Day.
The Portuguese prime minister, Luís Montenegro, announced that he would only proceed with the Social Security reform after including it in an electoral program submitted to suffrage, but expressed the desire to achieve a "national understanding" through a pact between various parties.
