Nepal: Portuguese woman among more than 400 missing in floods

Nepalese authorities indicated that at least 95 people died and more than 400 are missing due to the floods that hit Nepal, including a Portuguese woman among the missing. Twenty-eight police officers are among those whose whereabouts are unknown. The government has not yet made a definitive assessment of the tragedy.

Girl seriously injured after fall from second floor

A female child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. The girl suffered serious fractures to the pelvic girdle and pelvis, having been transported to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha to receive medical treatment. Spanish police officer on vacation victim of knife robbery

A Spanish police officer who was on vacation was the victim of a stabbing robbery in [data unknown]. Two men approached the victim near a commercial area, where they stole his police badge, money and a watch. The agent was injured during the incident and was taken to a hospital to receive medical care.
