A second faster than Usain Bolt: the moment a robot shatters the 100 meters record

The Chinese robot Tian Jiao set a new 100-meter record by completing the distance in 8.64 seconds during the final day of the Humanoid Robot World Games in Beijing. The machine surpassed its own previous record of 8.86 seconds, achieved just one day earlier in the semifinals, finishing 0.94 seconds ahead of Usain Bolt's human world record of 9.58 seconds, set in Berlin in 2009.

Ponte de Lima boosts education "with strong investment in Technology and Robotics"
